It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Joanne Nicole Miles of Creston South announces her passing. Joanne passed away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Center in Burin on Saturday, June 17th, 2023, at the age of 50. Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are her parents, Marilyn & Frank Miles; brother, Todd Miles (Sheila Richards); nephews, Dylan & Marshall Miles; special Aunt Flora and Uncle Winston; her hero, Bill Dunne; special homecare workers, Shantel Marshall, Dana Warren, Brenda Gleason, Linda Curtis, Jean Farewell, Katrina LaFosse, Pastor Rebecca Soper, Averil & Stephanie Oake; plus a large circle of extended family and friends.
Joanne was predeceased by her grandparents, Raymond & Violet Miles, Joseph & Annie Marshall; and cousin, Craig Marshall.
The Miles Family will be accepting visitors at Wiseman’s Funeral Home, Burin on
Monday, June 19th, 2023 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
Funeral will take place at Calvary Pentecostal Church, Creston North, on Tuesday, June 20th, 2023 at 11:00 am.
Interment to follow at United Church Cemetery, Garnish.
In Joanne’s memory donations may be made to the family or flowers gratefully accepted.
