SPIER, Joan Olive (nee Fallis): Peacefully with family by her side at St. Joseph’s at Fleming on Friday, February 16, 2024 in her 91st year, formerly of Omemee. Joan, beloved wife of the late Ronald Spier (d. 1971). Loving and devoted mother of Bonnie Mitchell (Don), Judy Payne (Danny), and Terry (Bonnie). Cherished Gramma of Derek, Brandon, Amanda, Angela, Brett, Kelsey; step-Gramma of Vanessa, Danielle, Great Gramma of Jackson, Alexis, Jaidon, Caleb, Evan, Brady, Addison, and Step Great Gramma of Isabelle, Sadie, and Greyson. Dear sister of Lois Franks (Don, predeceased), Lewis Fallis (Winnie), Glenn Fallis (Sandra), and Doug Fallis (Rita). Lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Daughter of the late Ira Fallis and Audrey Morton. Visitation at Highland Park Funeral Centre on Sunday, February 25th from 11:00am to 1:00pm followed by a Memorial Service in the Highland Chapel at 1:00pm. A light luncheon following the service. Spring burial in Lifford Cemetery. In memory of Joan, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by her family.
