Joan Luery (Patrick) – Entered into rest on Thursday, March 28th, 2024 at Bankside Retirement Home in Kitchener in her 93rd year. Joan was the beloved wife of the late Douglas Luery for over 63 years. Cherished mother to Chris and his wife Pauline, and Mark and his wife Melissa. Dear grandmother of Celeste, Monique, and Craig Luery and Kyle and Karissa Thomas. Joan was predeceased by her parents John and Mabel Patrick (McCallum). Sister of Jake Patrick, Arlene LaFontaine, Marjorie Johnson, Judy Harris and the late Wayne Patrick.
Joan will be dearly missed by those who loved her but will be happy to be reunited with her loving husband and best friend, Doug. Special thanks to the Telfer family for their love and care, great neighbours and good friends for many years.
Visitation will take place at Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel Street, Lindsay on Friday, April 12th, 2024 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm and Saturday April 13th, 2024 at 12:00 pm. Funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm. Interment to follow at Salem Emily Cemetery, Omemee.
