Joan Catherine Gray – age 79 of Malagash, passed away peacefully on January 8, 2024 in the Lillian Fraser Memorial Hospital, Tatamagouche.
Joan worked for over 30 years with Maritime Tel & Tel. After retiring, she enjoyed yoga, rug hooking, walks on the Malagash Beach as well as time spent with family and friends.
Joan was predeceased by her parents, Walter and Kathleen (Walsh) McCarthy as well as her brother, Donald. She leaves behind her spouse, Marshall Whitford, Malagash; brother, Wally (Marjorie), BC; son, Jeffrey and daughter, Cheryl (Jay) both of Sackville, N.S.; grandchildren, Emma and Luke. A special thank you to the doctors and nurses of the Lillian Fraser Memorial Hospital. The care and compassion that you provided was over and above.
Private Funeral Services and Burial will be held with arrangements under the care of Coulter’s Funeral Home, Tatamagouche.
