Agnes Joan (Cameron) Beaman, 65. It is with heavy hearts and great saddens that we announce the passing of our dear mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and great aunt on February 20, 2023, after a courageous batter with cancer. Joan was born in Calgary, Alberta to the late Vernie and Carole (Mingo) Cameron. Survived by her son Jamie (Tanya) granddaughter (Mila), sister Gale (Everett), half-brother, Trevor, cousin Arlene Fleck who was like a sister, nephew Timothy (Isabel) great niece Elena, niece Caroleanne (great nephew Riley), nephew Cameron (Kate) great niece Violet great nephew, Theodore. Her granddaughter was her pride and joy who she loved deeply. She enjoyed watching Mila in Taekwondo, piano, acting with the society performers in Hollywood, California and singing in the Edmonton Academy of Music. Joan also worked at Mila school, she loved to read, needle work and helping out with family when they needed her. Joan was also predeceased by her grandparents Fred and Rhoda Cameron, Florence and Les Mingo. Special thanks to all the doctors at the Cross Cancer, – St. Joseph Hospice and Ambulance Drivers. In keeping with Joan wishes there will be no funeral service and cremation has taken place. Interment will take place at a later date at Forest Hill Cemetery Denmark, N.S. Donations may be made to Compassionhouse.org or Forest Hill Cemetery.
