Jim McNeill Obituary
Passed away peacefully at Brightshores Health System – Owen Sound on Monday, June 10, 2024. Born in East York Township on October 19, 1944, James Fredrick McNeill of Annan, was in his 80th year.
Beloved husband for 58 years of Iva McNeill (nee Pollock) of Annan. Loving father of Kevin McNeill (Nasha) of Petawawa and Mark McNeill (Cathy) of Annan. Cherished grandpa of Madeline, Connor, Claudia and Cole. Jim will be missed by his nieces, nephews and friends.
Predeceased by his parents John and Ethel McNeill, and by his brother Bob McNeill.
Jim was an avid hunter, curler, fisherman, beekeeper, meat cutter, wood worker and a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Many an outdoorsman would have spent time in “Jimmy’s” shop, listening to him whistling away while working on their order, or hearing his tales about the big one that got away.
In keeping with Jim’s wishes, cremation is taking place. Arrangements are entrusted to Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, Owen Sound, 519-376-7492.
