GRAHAM, James Edward «Jim» – With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Jim Graham at Kingston General Hospital on Thursday, June 13th, 2024, at the age of 85. Jim was the devoted son of the late James E. «Jim» and Lorraine Graham. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Sharon Graham (nee Sweet), Sharon was the love of his life for over 66 wonderful years and the breath in his lungs. Jim was a loving father to Jim Graham (Emila) and Elizabeth Graham (David Ferguson), who will forever hold dear the countless memories and wisdom he shared with them.
Jim’s legacy continues through his cherished grandchildren: Katelyn, Emma, Olivia, Jack, Lauren (Devin), and Danielle. Each grandchild held a special place in his heart, and they will always remember his warmth, kindness, and the joy he brought into their lives.
Jim’s life was rich with love and dedication. A retired Canadian National Railroad Conductor, Jim never missed a day’s work in over 31 years of dedicated service. His steady and consistent work ethic laid a foundation of love and strength for his family. He was a music lover and guitar player who brought joy to many with his wonderful voice and 1967 Fender Classic. It was through the sharing of music, song and celebration that Jim found peace, joy friendship. His gentle spirit and unwavering support extended to his friends and community, where he was always ready with a helping hand or a kind word and gentle smile.
A Funeral Service to honor Jim’s life will be held at the Rushnell Funeral Home, 80 Highland Ave., Belleville (613-968-5588), on Wednesday, June 19th, 2024, at 2:00 p.m., officiated by Rev. Ed Bentley. Following the service, interment will take place at Belleville Cemetery.
