Obituary
HUNT, Jessika Dawn – 32, of Oak Park, passed away QEII Health Sciences Centre, Halifax Infirmary, on September 1, 2023. Jessika loved to go hunting and fishing with her friends. She was a kind and caring soul; and loved all animals unconditionally. Jessika and a few friends took every opportunity to Dollar Store shop and loved every minute of it. Jessika was loved by all and she in turn loved all. Jessika also had a fondness for every child she ever met. Jessika found her soul mate when she met Tim. They enjoyed hunting, fishing, and boating trips and anything else that involved them being together. Jessika loved her hairdressing profession and done it with pride, which was heavily reflected in her own appearance, nails and clothing (PS she had an addiction to PINK and LuLu)! Jessika loved everyone and was always willing to lend a hand. Family was so precious to her. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her. She is survived by her mother and step-father, Connie and Frank Ryer; father and step-mother, Jerry Hunt and Marsha Cameron (Hunt); maternal grandmother, Beatrice (Kenny) Nickerson; paternal grandmother, Donna Hunt; father and mother-in law, Carl Enslow and Cathy Harris-Enslow; spouse, Tim Enslow; brother, Sandy Ryer, step-brother, Christian Ryer; step-sister, Falon Ryer; aunt, Selena (Curtis); uncles, John (Bridget), Gary (Tanya), Dean, Corey (Stephanie), Jonny; cousin, Georgena Swaine; best friend, Dana Nickerson; God Children, Dawson, Aleigha; nephew, Oakley; as well as cousins that are too numerous to count. She was predeceased by her sister, Amanda Mae; maternal grandfather, Wayne Nickerson; and paternal grandfather, Leland Hunt. There will be a visitation held Monday, 6-8 pm, at the H. M. Huskilson’s Memorial Chapel, Barrington, where the funeral service will follow on Tuesday, September 5, at 2 pm, with Wayne Smith officiating. The service will be livestreamed for all those unable to attend. Interment will take place in Atlantic Cemetery, Stoney Island. Memorial donations in her memory may be made to Heart and Soil Dogs (www.facebook.com/heartandsoildogs/), SPCA, or any other animal related charity.
