1984-2023
The death of Jessica Leanne Leblanc of Whitecourt, AB occurred
suddenly on Saturday, September 16, 2023. Jessica was born on January
28, 1984 in Perth-Andover, NB.
She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Medric Joseph
Leblanc and Mary Lea Leblanc; her paternal grandmother, Marie
Chevarie; and one niece, Julia Isabella Rotgans.
Jessica left behind her common-law husband of 13 years, Matthew Holmes
and their 11 year old son, Casey-James and 3 year old son,
Cohen-Jude.
Jessica is survived, also, by her mother, Margaret Nichols; her
father, Daniel Chevarie; her sisters Christina Leblanc Rotgans
(Marcel), Jenifer Paul (Nicholas), Katherine Nichols (Larry), Candace
Nichols (Kaleb), Amber Dawn Chevarie, as well as, several nieces and
nephews.
She loved her husband and children dearly and held a steadfast love
for her mother and sisters. Jessica kept her friends dear and entire
family close to her heart always. She cherished her friendships and
held them in high regard.
Jessica loved to be outside, in the garden, fishing, hunting, camping,
and exploring with her sons.
Jessica has walked in canyons, fished in lakes, dug for dinosaur
fossils and took many road trips across Alberta and British Columbia.
Jessica held her children in tight hugs, many kisses and multiple
tickles. Jessica had a green thumb that was unparalleled. Jessica will
be greatly missed, may she rest in peace with her grand parents and
uncle Pete.
A celebration of Jessica’s life will be held at the Free Will
Baptist Church, 869 Lerwick Road, Tilley, NB on October 14th at 11am.
