Passed away peacefully at Hospice Huronia – Tomkins House, Penetanguishene on Thursday March 28, 2024 in his 69th year. Beloved son of the late Jesse Gabriel & Nellie Theresa Woods. Predeceased by his sister Donna Olimer (Lorne). Dear brother of Irene Patrick, Rodney Woods (late Sue), Glenn Woods (Barb), and Brett Woods. Fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews.
Jesse had a love of music that shaped his life from a very young age. As a teenager he performed locally with the family band and later travelled as a professional musician with brothers Glenn and Brett. Jesse was a very talented songwriter and storyteller.
Jesse had the biggest heart, was funny and a little trickster till the end. He always made time for family and friends. He was a lover of nature and the outdoors.
Following cremation the family will celebrate Jesse’s life at the Waubaushene Legion on Saturday April 27th from 1-4pm.
As an expression of sympathy donations in memory of Jesse may be made to Hospice Huronia – Tomkins House and may be made through the Funeral Home.
