It is with great sadness we announce the
passing of Jesse James Ruddick, nine days
before his 68th birthday.
Born in Springhill, he was a son of the late Maurice A.
and Norma J. (Reid) Ruddick.
Jesse was always there to lend a
hand. He loved
to be silly and share his great sense of humor with anyone and
everyone. He
enjoyed going fishing with Vicki, with grandkids, or with
friends. He loved
to sing, and make up songs on the spot. He spent many days on the golf
course.
Jesse is survived by his wife Vicky Lee
Brown, Amherst Head; children, James (Krista) Hunter, Springhill,
Jennifer (Rob) Aylward, Springhill, Matthew (Sylvie) Hardie, Shediac,
NB and Sarah (Bryce Litchfield) Ruddick, Vancouver Island, BC; several
grandchildren; brothers, Alder (Marilyn), Dean (Joyce), both of
Springhill, Francis, Toronto, Revere, Springhill, sisters, Colleen
(Robert) Mills, South Brook, Sylvia Doncaster, Dartmouth, NS, Valerie
(Barry) MacDonald, Riverview, NB, Ellen Blair(Gardiner MacKinnon),
Sherwood, PE, Leah Killen, Iris (Kenneth) Fife, and Katreena Ruddick,
all of Springhill, Maureen (Erroll) Patriquin, New
Maryland.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased
by half sister Judy Black.
Arrangements are under the care and
direction of the A. H. Brown Funeral
Home, 5 McFarlane Street, Springhill, (902 597 2361)
from where an Afternoon of Remembrance will be held on Saturday,
August 24, 2024 from 2 to 4 pm. Family and Friends are welcome
to share a memory after some special words at 3 pm.

choice.
