What beautiful memories you have left behind!
In loving memory of Jeramie Joesph Tanner Passage. It is with the heaviest of hearts we announce the tragic passing of Jeramie, who left us October 11, 2024, at the age of twenty-five. Though his time with us was far too brief, Jeramie lived a life full of love, laughter, hard work and had a spirit that touched everyone he knew.
Born October 3, 1999, to Kristina Perkin and Bertrum Passage. He arrived as a light in the lives of family and friends. Jeramie had a unique ability to make everyone feel valued and loved, offering a warm smile, a listening ear, or a reassuring hug. Jeramie could brighten the darkest days with humour, compassion, and generosity, even when his days were dark.
Over the few years we had with Jeramie he had many passions from hockey, drama, art, hiking, coaching, reffing and music. Jeramie pursued them with enthusiasm, and dedication. The last years of Jeramie’s life were spent in the electrical and framing trades, finding he had natural talent in the construction industry. He found comfort in building homes for new families.
More than anything Jeramie was a beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend. The memories of their “Me-Me” will live in the hearts of his siblings Jessyka, Kyle and Haedyn, reminding them of the extraordinary brother they were lucky to have. Jeramie shared bonds with his family built on unconditional love, laughter, and countless memories we will cherish and hold deep within our hearts forever. His true friends were drawn to him for his loyalty, kindness, and ability to feel like they belonged. Even if there were prolonged periods of time between visits.
While words cannot express the depth of our grief and sadness losing Jeramie, we will find comfort in knowing Jeramie’s legacy will live on through the lives he has touched. Though he is not here the love he shared with us endures and will forever be a part of who we are and can finally rest in eternal peace in his father’s arms.
Jeramie is survived by mom Kristina Perkin and step-dad Corey Coombs; Siblings Jessyka Perkin (Noah Biggs), Kyle Ryan (Grace Kristianson), and Haedyn. Grand Parents Margaret and Garry Ryan, Mary Passage and Brent and Marilyn Coombs. Uncles, Aunts and cousins Jeffrey Perkin (Sophia) Justin, Dylan, and Zackrey; Andrew Perkin (Meghan) Rebecca and Jacob; Shannon (Chelsea
); Jason Coombs (Rhonda) Jayda and Ty; Tanner Coombs; Riley Coombs; Jenette Dyck (Scott) Keygan and Keyanna; Tina Passage (Shannon) Dorian, Xavier and Haydez; Other members of the Passage family and numerous friends.
Jeramie is predeceased by his dad Bertrum Passage (2001) and his step-dad Arlyn Ryan (2006), Grandparents Fred and Julia Perkin (2009) (2014), cousin Charles Bradley Perkin (2003), Great Grandpa and Grandma Perkin (2003) (2000), Great Uncle John Perkin (2018); Great Grandpa Coombs (2023); and many other extended family members and friends.
A celebration of Jeramie’s life will be held 3:30pm, October 19, 2024, at Strathmore Ag Society’s Remuda Building, where we will come together to honour his memory and find solace in each others company. Please bring your hockey sticks for a final farewell game of road hockey in Jeramie’s honour.
Rest in peace, our sweet Me-Me, you will forever be in our hearts!
I will love you forever and like you for always as long as I’m living my baby you will be!
