WILKINS: Jenny Ruth – It is with great sadness that we share that on Oct. 15th, surrounded by her family, after a courageous battle with cancer, Jenny Wilkins of Bright passed away peacefully. She was just 50 years old.
Jenny is survived by her devoted husband and life partner, Grant Mannen, who cared for her with selfless love, compassion, and tenderness during her illness. Jenny adored and will be missed by her dog, Lucy.
Jenny was the cherished daughter of Wayne and Carol Wilkins and daughter-in-law of Linda and the late Jim Mannen (2013). She was a beloved sister to Burt and Sonya Wilkins and Melanie Mannen. Jenny was a fun and loving aunt to Scott and Jeremy Wilkins (Sydney Genzle), Rachel and Lauryn Lewis, and Megan and Zachary Boyle.
Jenny will be dearly missed by many close friends and a large extended family.
Jenny took pride in her career at Sun Life Financial, which was reflected in her success and advancement over the years. She also made many good friends at work.
Jenny enjoyed being outdoors, and found some joy and peace during the months of her illness by being outside. She especially loved spending time at their shared property in Denbigh.
Private interment will take place at Chesterfield Cemetery.

A Remembrance Gathering, a casual time for family and friends to share memories, will be held at a later date and announced at that time.
The family wishes to express our gratitude and appreciation to the team from Saint Elizabeth, who provided exceptional palliative care and support for Jenny in her final months.
