It is with heavy hearts that the family of Jennifer Lynn Brunskill announce her passing on Wednesday, December 6, 2023. Jennifer was a cherished daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She was born December 9, 1954, the second daughter of Thomas and Della Brunskill of Stockholm, SK. She grew up on the family century farm surrounded by five siblings. After high school, Jennifer moved to Regina where she went to college and worked in various careers. Jennifer always had a special way with the elderly starting with her Grandma Lily and their trip to Sweden. Her most loved career was working in different care homes such as Broadway Terrace. She made many special connections with the residents, she especially enjoyed doing recreation, activities, and crafts with them. Jennifer was also a proud homeowner and loved working in her house and yard in her spare time.
Gingy as she was known by those closest to her will be remembered for the gleam in her eye and the set of her mouth when you got her stubborn streak going. She passed peacefully surrounded by family and with many memories being shared.
Jen was predeceased by her Mom (Della Brunskill, nee Dixon) and Dad (Tom Brunskill). She is survived by her siblings Marlene (Stephen) Donahue, Bob (Kathryn) Brunskill, Bill (Maryanne) Brunskill, Doug (Roxanne) Brunskill and Shelley (Joe) Creaghan; as well as nieces and nephews Christopher, Jonathan, Jessica, Katelynne, Mike, Tyrell, Dana, Valerie, Tina, Alysha, Kaleigh, Erica; and many great nieces and nephews.
At Jennifers request a private family celebration of life will be held at a later date on the family land she cherished so much. The family wants to thank all the staff and residents at the Marion Chateau for all the kindness and love that she has felt over the last year and a half.
