It is with heavy hearts, but also immense gratitude, that we announce the passing of our beloved, Jennifer Lee Battle, who left us Sunday October 13, 2024 in the comfort of her home at the age of 50 after a courageous battle with lung cancer.
Jennifer was beautiful, smart, passionate and a fierce warrior.
Jenni was the cherished daughter of Paul Wilson (Stepmom Dianne Wilson) and Linda Rupert (Craig). She leaves behind her devoted husband, Mario Battle, and their three children, Jazmine, Marissa, and Jordan. She was also the proud grandmother of Roman, who brought her immense joy.
Born to be a guiding light, Jennifer devoted her life to her family. Her life was marked by her unwavering commitment to others, particularly through her work as a speech therapist. She touched the hearts of countless children and their families, dedicating herself to helping them overcome challenges and achieve their goals. Her care, compassion, and energy were felt by everyone she met, and her impact on the community will be remembered by all.
Her friends and family will always remember her infectious laughter, boundless love, and bright spirit.
As we honor her memory, we invite everyone who knew her to carry forward her legacy of kindness, love, and unwavering support. Jenni’s spirit will forever be with us, reminding us to lean on one another and cherish every moment. In her honor, let us embrace life with the same joy and dedication she showed us every day.
We invite all those including her students, to join us at her Celebration of Life, to be held in her honour, at the James Reid Funeral Home, 1900 John Counter Blvd., Kingston, on Monday, October 21, 2024 from 1-3 pm. As we gather to remember this unforgettable woman, we carry her in our hearts with each passing day.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Kids Inclusive, or The Food Sharing Project, this is where Jenni would want to make a difference.
