Snow, Jenny:
Jenny was born in the Cape Breton and moved to Ontario in her early 20s. She spent her time doing the things she loved best – baking, which she learned at her mother’s side, growing roses in her expansive gardens, dancing and playing bingo with her Connor’s Park Friends, and of course challenging all opponents to a round of shuffling as a Pro shuffler in Florida.
Jenny passed away, with family by her side, on August 26, 2024 at Freeport Hospital, in Kitchener, ON at the age of 94.
Beloved wife of John Jessome, who predeceased her in 1972.
Cherished mother of Goldie Jardine (Brendan) and Gardell Wilson (Jerry).
Loving nanny of Candy (Anesti), Nicole (Jeff), Penny (Chris), Jarret (Sherry), Niki (Brian), Corey, and Kristi (Anna).
Proud «Nanny Jenny» of Jacob, Mason, Autumn, Addie, Sam, Brinley, Charlie, Asa, Travis, Caelen, and Levi.
She was predeceased by her 12 siblings and will be sadly missed by her extended family and friends. Her infectious laugh will stay with us always.
Thank you to Dr. Chaisson for his care and support over the past 5 years.
A private family interment will be held at Woodland Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will take place from 2:00 – 5:00 PM, on Sunday, September 22, 2024, at Edelweiss Tavern, 600 Doon Village Rd, Kitchener, ON.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
