Jeffrey Scott Mills
17 January 1962 – 2 November 2023
Jeff passed away at St. Mary’s Hospital in Kitchener on Thursday, November 2, 2023 at 5:45pm after losing a year-long battle. He was 61 years old.
Jeff was born in Hamilton, but lived in Ancaster in his early days. He then moved and grew up in Burlington. In 2003, he moved to Kitchener. He was a member of The Burlington Teen Tour Band and this enabled him to enjoy drumming and travelling. He was in the Canadian Air Force in Kingston, Ontario and Cornwallis, Nova Scotia. He enjoyed playing golf and watching The Masters each year, and watching all the Leafs’ hockey games each season.
He leaves his wife Connie; they were married 25 October 1986 in Burlington and were able to celebrate their 37th and have one last anniversary together. He never forgot a birthday or anniversary, and took pride in that. Other family members missing Jeff are Shirley, Anne, Carolanne, Dave, and niece Christine.
Predeceased by his dogs Bear 2000-2014, and Amber 1986 – 2000.
Thank you to Nurses Alex and Ash for the care and compassion you gave to Jeff. You both are gentlemen with superior dedication to your profession.
Cremation has taken place, with a private interment at a later date. Donations to SPCA or Lions Foundation of Canada DogGuides would be appreciated.
