It is with great sadness we announced the sudden passing at the Kingston Health Science Centre, on Wednesday, March 1, 2023. Jeff Toupin of Brockville at the age of 65. Dearly beloved father of Tanner. Loving son of Jean Toupin of Cardinal and the late Albert Toupin. Dear brother of Judy McDougall (Lawrence) and the late Janet Lauzon. Loving uncle of Jeffrey, Matthew McDougall, Philip (Holly), Amanda Lauzon (Mark Valliquette) and great uncle of Liam and Lillian Lauzon. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He will be sadly missed by his dear cousin Terry-Lynn Buchanan (TL superbaby) and his dear friend Edgar Brennan. He is predeceased by his best friend Alex (Biz) Bissonnette. Jeff was proud of his 30-year sobriety and was a major help to many others as a sponsor supporter and mentor. He was an active member of the Wall Street United Church in Brockville. He is a life long fan of the Toronto Maple Leaf and the Dallas Cowboys. Jeff was actively involved in his family’s activities.
Funeral Arrangements
Friends may call at the Marsden McLaughlin Funeral Home in Cardinal on Wednesday, from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral service will be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday, March 9 at 11am. Spring Interment at St. John’s Riverside Cemetery in Cardinal. Donations to the Cancer Society would be gratefully acknowledged by the family. If you are making your donation online or by cheque directly to the charity, please include the following note with your gift “Please notify the family.” Arrangements entrusted to the Marsden McLaughlin Funeral Home in Chesterville.
