Obituary
KILLAM, Jeffery Donald – 59, of Woods Harbour, NS, It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle, son-in-law, and brother-in-law on February 25, 2024. Jeffery, son of Clifford and Geraldine Killam, was born in Gosport, England where Clifford was posted while in the Royal Canadian Navy. They soon returned to Canada where Jeffery grew up in Sackville, NS. Jeffery had an adventurous side which saw him serve in the Royal Canadian Army and various other jobs in and around Canada. He never felt the need to settle until he met the love of his life, his soulmate, his beautiful Ginny. She swept him off his feet. They met in 2006 and that was the beginning of the end for him, he found HOME! They were married in June of 2008 and in doing so, Jeffery not only became a husband, he also became a father of two lovely young ladies and later Papa to seven wonderful grandchildren. It is with a broken heart that we not only lost Jeffery on this day but we lost his beautiful wife, Ginny who passed only hours after Jeffery. Jeffery is survived by his sisters, Juanita MacKenzie (Angus) and Tina Marie Reekie (Andrew); his daughters, Meta (Joseph), Sammi (Stacey); his grandchildren, Nevaeh, Andi, Leeah, Lexi, AJ, JJ, and Ayra; his nephews and niece, Nathaniel (Tori), Aaron (Danielle), Elizabeth, Devon; his great nieces and nephews, Faith, Brandon, Tayla, Rowyn, Dylan, and parents-in-law, Fraser and Louella. A special mention to his lifelong best-friend and cousin, Tony Wood. He was predeceased by his parents, Clifford and Geraldine Killam. Jeffery leaves us too soon but, leaves us with love and beautiful memories. He will be forever missed! There will be a memorial service held Friday March 1, at 2 pm at the H. M. Huskilson’s Memorial Chapel, Barrington. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.
