PORTER, Jean
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jean Porter, who peacefully passed away on May 8, 2023, in her 86th year, at the North Bay Regional Health Centre surrounded by her family. Jean was a loving mother to Donna (Jo-Anne), Kevin (Christine), Brenda (Claude), Teresa, Wanda (Rob), and Larry (Diane), and a proud grandmother to many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Jean had a special place in her heart for her cats, whom she adored and loved dearly.
Jean is now reunited with her loving husband, Lint, who passed away in 2016.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at NBRHC, her PSW Shelly, and her neighbours Moe and Steve for their exceptional care and support. Jean will be dearly missed by her family and all who knew her.
As per Jean’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no funeral service.
In Jean’s memory, donations may be made to All Heart Pet Rescue.
