It is with profound sadness and much love that we share the passing of our beloved mother Mrs. Jeanette Ruth Fladgate (Woodford) who left us on September 2nd, 2024, at the age of 87, 16 days from her 88th birthday at the Northumberland Hills Hospital.
She was born September 18, 1936, in Toronto, Ontario to the late Isabelle Mary (Stokes) and the late Stanley Arthur Woodford.
Jeanette loved the north and being with her sister Yvonne, they spent time fishing, going into town on the bus, family gatherings and cooking. Most recently she enjoyed her time at the home, meeting friends, spending time playing cards, Bingo, her crafts and painting which she loved.
Jeanette cherished every moment spent with her children Mark Traimer and Lynn Jude and her grandchildren Erik Jude and Michael Jude.
Loving wife of the late Peter FG Fladgate, beloved sister to the late Yvonne Pollard, the late John Woodford, the late Robert Woodford and the late Penny Simmons. She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and friends.
The family wishes to sincerely thank all the staff at the Victoria Retirement Residence for their wonderful care and kindness shown to our mom, the ambulance paramedics along with the doctors and nurses at the Northumberland Hills Hospital.
As requested by our mom there will be a private family memorial at a later date. If desired, friends may make memorial donations to The Salvation Army or the Northumberland Humane Society.
