It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Mom and Grannie; Jean Savage. Precious mother of Sarah Lavoie (Steve) and treasured grandmother of Laura and Allison Lavoie. Jean was predeceased by her brother James Robin Hendry (Jane) and sister Helen Gouws. She was the revered friend of Kay “Katie Dear” Wilson, devoted “aged aunt” to Ian, Brian, and Derek Hendry, Sean Rogers and Angela Van Tonder, and mother to her dearest Milo. Jean passed away peacefully in her sleep as she had hoped, after a courageous battle with COPD at the age of 83.
Professional services have been entrusted to Zohr Family Funeral Home, Renfrew. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date and the details will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Lung Association, online at www.zohrfuneralhome.com.
We are glad she is at peace and know she is watching over us.
