Jean McGlynn Obituary
Jean passed away peacefully at Alexandra Marine and General Hospital in Goderich, on September 16, 2024. Born in Wingham on July 8, 1933, Jean Grace McGlynn (nee Elliott) of Teeswater, was in her 92nd year.
Loving mother of Terry and his wife Lisa of St. Augustine Beach, FL, Rick and his wife Mary of Bayfield, Connie Adams and her husband Kevin of Goderich, Tami Edgar and her husband Murray of St. Thomas, Todd and his wife Shelley of Kincardine, and Kathy Hackett and her husband Ian of Amberley. Cherished grandma of Becky (Aaron), John (Sandy), Krystle (Scott), Derek, Michael, Colette, Kayla (Jeremy), Nathan (Stephanie), Scott (Alicia), Carley (Mike), Amber (Sandy), Wesley (Lindsey), Cullen (Rachel), and great grandma of Brett, Avery, Aiden, Duke, Rory, Maddie, Brooke, Ava, Brody, Colton, Hudson, Blake, Myer, Nash, Georgia, Jude, Daxton, Kobe, Mason and Gavin. Dear sister of Nancy Thompson (Barry), Mary Wilkenson (Clayton), and sister-in-law of Bill McGlynn (Cathy).
Predeceased by her husband Doug McGlynn (June 13, 2001), parents William and Margaret Elliott, siblings Doreen MacAdam (Don), John (in infancy), and siblings-in-law Clayton McGlynn (Ruth), Yvonne “Sue” Pletch (Chum), and Marjorie (in infancy).
Cremation has taken place and a private graveside service to celebrate Jean’s life will be held at the Culross-Teeswater Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Brian E.
