It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Jean Smith on Monday, September 25th, 2023, in her 98th year. Daughter of the late John and Mary Ackerman. Predeceased by loving partner Raymond Smith. Sister to the late Gordon Ackerman (Marion). Beloved aunt to Patricia Baker (Duane), and Peggy Ackerman-Kennedy (David). Jean will be missed by her great-nieces and nephews. Arrangements entrusted to Rushnell Funeral Homes – Trenton, 60 Division St. 613-392-2111. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 29 from 1:00 – 1:30 followed by a service in the chapel and interment at Mt. Evergreen Cemetery.
