It is with great sadness that our family announces Jean’s passing on February 20, 2024, in her 82nd year.
Beloved wife of Neil (predeceased). Dear mother of Brian (Sonia), and Jennifer (Paul). Cherished grandmother of Adam, John, and Jack.
Jean enjoyed a wonderful upbringing on the family farm in Shelburne, Ontario with her parents Florence and Arthur, and her brothers and sister. Jean will be greatly missed by her siblings Betty (late Morris), late David (Eleanor), John (late Bernice), nieces and nephews, and the Ellison family.
Jean worked many years at Charters Publishing where she met Neil. They had great adventures together and loved to dance and travel. Having gone before, Neil assured Jean he would be practicing with his dancing shoes on until she arrived.
Jean will be fondly remembered by her good friends at Governor’s Green.Thank you to everyone at Margaret’s Place Hospice and the Juravinski Cancer Center/ODS for Jean’s care.
As per Jean’s wishes, a service will not be held. In lieu of flowers, donations are appreciated to Margaret’s Place Hospice or Wentworth Lodge in Dundas, Ontario.
