It is with broken hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Jason Patrick Gallant on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at the age of 50 years. Born March 5, 1974, the son of the late Genevieve Gallant and George Barnes.
Jason is survived and greatly missed by: sons Draw Barnes Gallant and Sam Edward Gallant; brother Bradley Gallant; stepfather Brian Samms; and a large family both maternal and paternal.
Jason was full of charisma. His bright blue eyes and smile were piercing. Jason loved his family deeply and believed he could beat his battle with addiction. It took everything from him except his spirit. In honour of Jason’s spirit we ask that you be truthful with your family and friends, spread the truth of this terrible disease in an effort to raise awareness. If together we can save one beautiful, blonde, blue-eyed little boy as we remember Jason, then the conversation would be worth it.
Cremation has taken place and Jason will be reunited with his Mother, Father and Grandparents who loved him very much. In lieu of flowers, please donate to an addiction center in your area or to MADD. Above all, hug and laugh with those you love. Rest in Peace Jason.
