Janice Short Obituary
Peacefully passed away surrounded by the love of her family at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Tuesday, December 12, 2023. Janice was the beloved wife of Terry Short and the loving mother to Richard Short (Jennifer), Nicholas Short, and Mark Short. She was the cherished grandmother to Sienna, Brayden, Isla and Finnley. She will be lovingly remembered by her brother Neil Goodman (Georgina), and her many nieces and nephews especially Jessica, Adrian, and Lucas. Janice is predeceased by her sister Susan Goodman, as well as her parents Gerald Goodman and Susan (nee Uhrynicuk) Goodman.
Janice will be remembered as one of the most kind, generous, loving, funny and selfless woman you could meet. Janice and Terry raised 3 boys, who grew to be fine young gentlemen. She was so caring, always putting her boys first regardless of the situation. She was a very proud mother and grandmother; you know this because she loved to share their lives with everyone; always posting pictures of her grandchildren and Mark’s latest photography achievements.
She will be deeply missed by every single person who had the pleasure to know her. Her infectious laugh and smile will never be forgotten. May your legacy carry on and may you rest at peace. Until we all meet again!
