It is with truly broken hearts that we announce the passing of Janice Whittaker, who left this world for paradise, to be with her Heavenly Father, on the morning of Wednesday May 1st, 2024.
Janice Whittaker leaves behind her loving husband James Whittaker, her dedicated children Tracey Caves (Oliver), Christopher Whittaker and Robert Whittaker. She will be missed by her adoring grandchildren: James, Madalyn and Marcus as well as all of her extended family including her brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Janice was a care-giver her entire life. Her strength and selflessness were unmatched. She was a problem solver and critical thinker. The greatest gifts she gave to her children were her unconditional love, dedication and patience. Janice was a fiercely loyal, and committed partner, to her beloved husband. Janice had humble beginnings that made her appreciate what her hardwork and determination allowed her to accomplish in this world, before she went home to Heaven. The world is indeed a better place for having Janice in it, even if it was for a short time, and those who loved her best will continue to love and miss her till the end of time.
Janice is resting at McKersie & Early Funeral Home, 114 Main St. E., Milton, ON, 905-878-4452 where the family will greet friends on Tuesday May 7, 2024 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm. There will be brief prayer vigil at 3:45 pm.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Rosary Parish, 139 Martin St., Milton, ON on Wednesday May 8, 2024 at 11 am.
The Rite of Committal will take place at Holy Family Cemetery, Lower Base Line, Milton, ON.
A post funeral reception will follow all the services at McKersie & Early Funeral Home in the Upper Lounge.
