Janice took her magic carpet ride on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay at the age of 70. A kind, caring, gentle yet courageous lady. Janice now joins her husband Alfie (2021). Fiercely loved by her children Kym, Wayne (Vickie) and Amanda (Mark). Deeply missed Gammie of Hannah, Ella, Owenn, Emma, Holden, Sawyer, Gage and Killian.
Her creativity made her so special and was able to touch so many with her gift. She absolutely loved her gardens and everything flowers. Her green thumb was obvious with every bloom.
A party in her honour will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Uxbridge Branch 170, 109 Franklin Street Uxbridge on Sunday October 15, 2023 from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m.
We are so grateful for the care given to her at Ross Memorial Hospital, Palliative Care. An incredible team who went above and beyond for her. It seems fitting donations made in her memory be made there.
I’ve just closed my eyes again,
Climbed above the dream weaver train.
Driver take away my worries of today,
And leave tomorrow behind.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to Dods and McNair Funeral Home, 21 First Street Orangeville.
A tree will be planted in memory of Janice in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. 22nd Annual Dedication Service will be held on Sunday, September 8, 2024 at 2:00 p.m.
