Vanderloon, Jantje «Jane» – It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Jane at the Belleville General Hospital on Wednesday, September 6th, 2023. Jane of Trenton, in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late Pieter Johannes Vanderloon. Loving daughter of the late Andy and Jannette De Vries. Dear mother to Wilma (Paul) Radway, Jeanette (late Charles) Elliott; both of Frankford, John (Anita) Vanderloon of Roslin, Clarence Vanderloon of Trenton, Rick (Shelley) Vanderloon of Frankford and Teresa (Tom) Spychalski of Nashville, TN. Ever remembered grandmother to Sara, Adam, Tasha, Amy, Alicia, Kyle, McKenzie, Taylor, Jake, Rachael, Hannah; great-grandmother of Chloe, William, Matthew, Justin, Addison, Finn, Oliver, Weston, Nash, Colt, Beckett, and Kolby. Survived by her siblings Emmy (Dick) Voskamp, Andy (Elizabeth) De Vries, Jerry (Heather) De Vries, John De Vries, Hans (Maria) De Vries, and sister-in-laws Aikee De Vries, and Ann De Vries. Predeceased by her siblings Clarence De Vries, Henry De Vries, Henny Talsma, Grace Baggel, Ben De Vries, and Nel Neerhof. The family will receive friends at Ebenezer Christian Reformed Church (18 Fourth Ave, Trenton) on Monday, September 11th, 2023 from 6-8p.m. Funeral service will be held from Ebenezer Christian Reformed Church on Tuesday, September 12th, 2023 at 11a.m. with visitation one hour prior. Pastor Adam Veenstra officiating. Interment Mount Evergreen Cemetery. If desired, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association, Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family. A special thank you goes out to the staff of Trent Valley Lodge and Belleville General Hospital for their exceptional care of Jane.
