Obituary
Passed peacefully away at home surrounded by her loving family on March 6, 2024, Jane Chislett of Heart’s Delight, aged 74 years.
Predeceased by her parents Raymond and Veronica Green; brothers Eric and Raymond Green; parents-in-law Gladys and William Chislett; and brother and sister-in-law Wanice Hunter and Philip Chislett.
Leaving to mourn with cherished memories are her husband of almost 54 years, Bob; daughters Shelly (Patrick) Carrick and Paula (Andrew) Brooks; grandchildren Jessica (Terry) Moore, Olivia (Billy) Ferguson, Josey (Tyler) Ferguson and Eden (Colby) Ferguson; great-grandchildren Rosa-Lynn and Daxton; sister Winnie Chislett; brother Jeff Green; brothers and sisters-in-law Betty Chislett, Willoughby (Shirley) Chislett, Hedley Hunter, Elaine (John) Sooley and Ernie (Gloria) Chislett.
Jane is remembered for her tremendous strength and determination, love for her husband, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and her entire family. She had a great sense of humour and always had fun being silly. She will be missed dearly by all who knew her.
The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to Dr. Kim Babb for her exceptional care, homecare worker Anna Parsons, community support nurses of Heart’s Delight, Dr. Robert Humber, as well as friends and family who have helped in many ways. Your kindness will never be forgotten.
Cremation has taken place.
Visitation will be held at Warren’s Funeral Home, Dildo, NL, on Sunday, March 10, 2024, from 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 pm.
A funeral service to celebrate Jane’s life will be held from the Parish of the Epiphany, Heart’s Delight, NL, on Monday, March 11, 2024, at 2:00 pm. Interment to follow at St. Matthew’s Anglican Cemetery, Heart’s Delight.
