James William Harris husband of Muriel Noreen Harris of Doaktown NB passed away Tuesday April 4, 2023 at Hospice Fredericton, at the age of 90.
Born in Doaktown NB, he was the son of the late Clarence and Alma (Ballard) Harris. He was retired warden for D.N.R., and a long-time fishing guide on the Miramichi, member of Abundant Life United Pentecostal Church, Doaktown and he was also a veteran of the Korean War.
Besides his wife Muriel, he is survived by one daughter Joyce Harris of Doaktown, two sons; Keith Harris (Cheryl) of Storeytown and Ronald Harris of Fredericton. 2 brothers; Donald Harris of Alberta and Bertram Harris of Alberta, 3 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, 1 special great granddaughter Karlee and 3 step great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his parents.
James William Harris is resting at Abundant Life United Pentecostal Church with visitation on Monday April 10, from 12 noon until the time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. with Pastor Ron Carroll and Brother Russell Morehouse officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery at a later date.
In his memory donations to the Abundant Life United Pentecostal Church Cemetery Fund would be appreciated.
