James Tacq passed peacefully with his loving family by his side. Born in Kent Township, James was the son of the late George and Margaret Tacq. Beloved husband of Marilyn. Loving father of Kevan Tacq (Hillary Shandonay), Dianne Tacq (Kent Nicholson), Emma Tacq (Cameron Miller), Shayna Whaley (Justin Tatsu), James Whaley (Kelly Soulliere), and Johnny Whaley. Proud grandfather of Luca, Jackson, Matthew, Nova, Cash, Faith, and Hudson. Brother of Jean Renaud, Joan Bechard (the late Tom), and Janice Clark (Bud). Son-in-law of James and Margaret Whaley. Brother-in-law of Jamie Whaley, Kat Carron (Jamie), Sean Whaley (Melissa), Christopher Whaley, and Jennifer Whaley. James will also be dearly missed by his many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
James loved life, enjoyed keeping busy, and loved music. He was a good man.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
If desired, donations in James memory may be made to Canadian Diabetes Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
