STRILCHUK James John – It is with deep sorrow, we announce the passing of James John Strilchuk on March 29th, 2024, at the age of 42, due to a rare underlying heart condition. Beloved son of George and Cheryl (Leek) Strilchuk. Loving brother of Karen and dear nephew of Lori. He was loved and cherished by predeceased grandparents Daniel and Florence Leek, and John and Irene Strilchuk. James will be missed by all who knew him.
Known for his kind heart, infectious smile, and youthful energy, James left a lasting impact on everyone he met. His love for plants and animals was profound, reflecting his caring and gentle nature.
James’ legacy of kindness, helping others, and adventurous spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Rest in peace, dear James.
A Memorial Service to celebrate James’ life will be held at the Rushnell Funeral Homes – Brighton Chapel, located at 130 Main Street, (613-475-2121) on Tuesday, April 9th, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. with visitation from 12:00 until time of Service at 1:00 p.m. This gathering will provide an opportunity for family and friends to come together, share memories, and find comfort in each other’s presence as we pay tribute to a remarkable soul. May we find solace in our cherished memories of James and draw strength from the love and support of one another during this difficult time.
In honour of James’ love for animals, donations may be made to the Ontario SPCA and Humane Society in his memory or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
