Obituary
Ashe, Jamal Rickie – 21, Springhill, passed way Saturday, June 22, 2024. Born in Moncton, NB he was a son of Rickie and Gail (Clark) Ashe of Springhill. After graduating from high school, Jamal worked at a few different jobs but most recently at Surrette Battery, Springhill. He loved working on cars and having projects that included fixing cars for his friends. Jamal loved his family and was very much loved by them. Besides his parents, he is survived by his brothers, Darnell, Tyrese (Aurora) and Jarmaine; niece, Rosalyah; maternal grandparents, John and Linda Clark; paternal grandmother, Lourena Ashe; girlfriend, Ashley; best friends, Kya and Brittany. Jamal was predeceased by, paternal grandfather, Irving Ashe. A Celebration of Life gathering will be held from 6-8 pm on Wednesday, June 26 in MacDiarmid’s Funeral Home & Crematorium, Oxford.
