Smith, Jacqueline Dolores – 85, Collingwood, died May 4th, 2024. She was born in Sydney, NS on April 4th, 1939. Her parents, John and Mabel (Janes) LeDrew, predeceased her. Jackie was a graduate of Sydney City Hospital School of Nursing (1959) and Success Business College (1987). She worked in various hospital and business locations throughout NS and NB. Jackie was an avid crafts person and also enjoyed playing the piano, singing and gardening. Jackie was much loved by her husband, Curtis; leaving behind daughters, Charlene (Christopher) Lloy, Edmonton, AB; Linda (Stephen) MacBurnie, Debert, NS; three grandchildren; several great-grandchildren. The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the first responders and hospital staff who tended to Jackie. Cremation has taken place under the direction of MacDiarmid’s Funeral Home & Crematorium. Jackie loved and appreciated life, so she has requested that you plant a tree in her memory.
