Passed away peacefully in his sleep on August 17, 2024, at the age of 53. He will be dearly missed by his beloved wife, soulmate, high school sweetheart and best friend Lina, his cherished children, who he loved beyond words, Jack and Natalia. He is survived by his mother-in-law Margherita Celli, his brothers and sisters-in-law, Mary and Joe Colosimo, Rose and Frank Rotella, Antoniette and Dana LaRock, Guy and Colleen Celli, Tony and Kelly Celli and Rita Roberts. His nieces and nephews Michael and Leigh Colosimo, Christopher Colosimo, Lisa and Mike Boyd, Joey Rotella (Talia), Cristina Rotella (Dan), Angela and Mike Moriarty, Derek LaRock (Rebecca), Samantha Celli, Nicholas Celli, David Roberts (Erin) and Victoria Roberts. His great nieces and nephews, Miliana and Ludovica Colosimo and Rylee, Vincent and Domenic Moriarty. Nephew of Mario and Mary Muraco, Sue and Angelo Sabatino. Joseph and Isabelle Muracco and Pat Chambers. He will be missed by many, many cousins and close friends. He was predeceased by his dear sister Lisa, his parents Angelo and Gloria, his devoted Nonno and Nonna Giacomo and Maria Muraca, his Great-Grandma Nellie, his father-in-law Rosario Celli and his Aunt Shirley Chambers.
Jack was such a compassionate man and all about family. He had a huge heart and he would be there in an instant if you needed help. You could always count on a good laugh when Jack was around. He loved cooking with passion and most of all he loved seeing people enjoy it. He would say his food tasted amazing because it was made with love. He found peace in going for long drives, but no drive was ever complete without a stop at Timmy’s. He loved taking spontaneous road trips, his most recent one, just two weeks ago, to the East coast, is one his family will cherish forever, just like him!
In keeping with Jack’s wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends at Morse & Son Funeral Home, 5917 Main St., Niagara Falls, on Saturday August 24, 2024, between 12pm and 2pm, with a service to celebrate the life of Jack to begin at 2pm. As an expression of sympathy, those who wish may make a memorial donation to Catholic Children’s Aid Society of Hamilton. Memories, photos and condolences may be shared at www.morseandson.com.
