LeBlanc, Jacques “Jack” Michel
Passed away peacefully with his family by his side at Hamilton General Hospital on Friday, May 5, 2023 at the age of 70. Loving husband to Patricia (Snelling) LeBlanc for 43 years.
Beloved father of Nick and Trevor (Holly Kurtz). Proud grandpa of Makayla and Logan LeBlanc. Loved brother of Dennis (Debbie) and Daniel LeBlanc and Lillian (Bob) Baker, son-in-law of Marie Snelling, and brother-in-law of Mike (Doris) Snelling, Donna (Blaine) White, Connie (Fred) Kaster, and Sandra Schroeder (Chris Foley).
Predeceased by his parents Joe and Yolande LeBlanc, and father-in-law Vincent Snelling.
Jack loved to spend time with his family, and was an especially active and devoted father and grandpa. He loved to stay busy; enjoying the outdoors through long bike rides, walks on the trails, cross country skiing, or playing basketball and other sports with his grandkids. He was a very generous and dependable man who could fix or build anything, a true jack-of-all-trades. He will be dearly missed by all who loved him.
A memorial mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 27, 2023 at St. Teresa of Avila RC Church, 19 Flamingo Dr., Elmira.
Donations in Jack’s memory to Hamilton Health Sciences Foundation or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated, and may be made through the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira.
A special thank you to the nurses and doctors in ICU-East at Hamilton General Hospital for their excellent care of Jack.
