Jack accomplished a lot throughout his near 88 years of life. He was an educator with the Niagara South Board of Education, retiring after 35 years of service. Jack volunteered for many years with the Welland Minor Hockey Association culminating with him serving as President and Past President. He was also a member of the Pastoral Council, the finance committee and as an usher with St Alexander Church.
Jack was a devoted grandfather to his grandchildren and cherished every moment spent with them. He was an avid reader and loved his true crime and spy novels. Jack enjoyed woodworking and could often be found tinkering in the basement with all his tools. He liked to travel, whether it be across Canada in the family station wagon, or cruising through Europe, Alaska, and the Caribbean with mom.
The family will receive friends at the H.L Cudney Funeral Home, 241 West Main Street, Welland on Wednesday October 18, 2023 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm.
