Obituary of Iva Lynn Prince
The family of Iva Lynn Prince of Bredenbury sadly announce her passing on May 8, 2023 in Yorkton. She was 59 years of age.
A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Preeceville Funeral Home with Doreen Day, Certified Celebrant officiating.
The interment will take place at a later date in the Kelvington Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Canadian Cancer Society as gifts of remembrance.
Iva Lynn Prince was born on January 2, 1964, to Earle & Lelia Prince. She was the New Years Baby that year and was the youngest of 11 children. Lynn attended school in Kelvington from Kindergarten to Grade 12. She attended Sunday School, was part of Messengers, Explorers, and CGIT, as well as youth group at the Kelvington United Church. After Grade 12 Lynn went on to Siast in Moose Jaw to take Accounting. Lynn worked at different jobs throughout her life including owning her business in Kelvington and working with an income tax accounting company. A short while ago Lynn moved to Bredenbury to be closer to her best friend. She and Vernon spent many hours together doing their favourite things.
Lynn has always had a great faith and loved her time spent at church and doing church activities.
Lynn was predeceased by her parents Earle & Lelia, her brothers Tim & Robert, her sister Lois, her brother-in-law Jim Derbyshire, and her great niece Cheyenne. She is survived by her friend Vernon; her brothers and sisters: Jim, Carey (Robert), Patrick (Valerie), Gary (Francis), Kenneth (Veronica), Heather (Larry), Bertha (Kenneth), as well as generations of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
