HARCOURT, NB – Iva Joan Roberts of
Harcourt, NB passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family at the
age of 82 on March 10, 2024 at the Rexton Lions Nursing Home, in
Rexton, NB. Iva was born in Fords Mills, NB on January 10, 1942 to the
late Malcolm and late Ellavine (Morris) Wright. In addition
to being a skilled homemaker, Iva co-owned and operated a construction
company with her husband.
Iva will be lovingly remembered by
her husband of 50 years, Harvey Roberts; her three sons; Dean (Holly)
of New Scotland, Darryl (Melanie) of Richibucto; and Delbert (Melissa)
of Adamsville; her daughter, Lacey (Brad) of Summerside, PE.
She will also be missed by her ten grandchildren, Malcolm, Joy,
Samuel, Nathan, Meghan, Cole, Dylan, Emmet, Ellavine and
William.
Besides her parents, Iva was
predeceased by her brother, Cecil Wright; her aunt Florence Morris who
was like a second mother to her, and her infant daughter
Margaret.
Visitation will be held at
Thompson’s Funeral Home in Richibucto on Thursday from 2-4
& 7-9 pm (ONLY). A Funeral Service will be
celebrated at St. Paul’s Anglican Church in Browns
Yard. In lieu of flowers donation to the St.
Paul’s Cemetery Fund would be appreciated by the
family.
