GREGORY, Isobel – It is with deep sorrow and sadness that we announce the passing of our loving mother Isobel Frew Gregory (nee Cowan) on July 16, 2024, after a beautiful well lived life at the age of 92.
Isobel was a kind, caring and loving mother, grandmother, and friend. Isobel enjoyed her visits and having some laughs with friends and family, sitting on her front porch watching the birds at her bird feeder as well as her passion for good food.
She will now be reunited with her beloved husband Keith (1996). Predeceased by her parents Isabella (1992) and Duncan Cowan (1982). Survived by her sisters Sheila Cowan, Margaret Millejours and the late Jean Holt (2005). Full of love, laughter, kindness and resilience for life, she truly was a remarkable woman and she touched the lives of all that knew her.
Isobel is survived by her three children, Laura Torch (Robert), Stuart Gregory (April) and Sandra Homan (Jeff). Cherished grandmother of Lindsy and Brett Gregory and Jordan, Joshua, Ben and Lucas Homan.
Thank you to the Nursing staff and Physicians at the Welland County General Hospital and the Woolcott Wing. Cremation has taken place. The family will welcome friends Monday July 22, 2024 at H L Cudney Funeral Home, 241 West Main St. Welland, from 6 – 8 pm. A private memorial service will be held on Tuesday July 23, 2024.
