It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Isidore Henry Girard, on December 7, 2023 at 94 years of age. Beloved husband of 60 years the late Irene (2017). Cherished father of Cathy Zieba, Robert, Gerry (Maeve), Jackie Roy (Richard), and David (fiancé Wendi). Loving grandfather of Melanie, Francine, Candace, Bobby, Siobhan, Conor, Chris, Stephanie, Michael, Julia, and Emily. Dear great-grandfather of Tyhler, Kayden, Jesslynn, Mason, Alex, Bobby, and Zoey. Predeceased by his parents Moise and Eva. Loving sister of the late Viola, and Homer Girard (Alice). Brother-in-law to the late Raymond Bourdeau (Rose), the late Rita Terry (the late Bill), the late Lorraine Ruta (Ron), Helen Zimmer (the late George), Joe Bourdeau, and Hank Bourdeau (Helen). He will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, and friends. Izzy was a retired supervisor at McCord Corporation in Wyandotte, Michigan. He was also an avid baseball player for several years for Es, Sudbury, and Windsor teams.

Visitation will take place on Sunday December 10, 2023 from 7-9 p.m. with parish prayers at 8:30 pm at Families First 3260 Dougall Ave. South Windsor, 519-969-5841. Further visitation will take place at the funeral home on Monday December 11, 2023, from 9-9:30am, then proceeding to Corpus Christi Church (1400 Cabana Rd.
