It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Irving Leibner, peacefully, in his one hundredth year, on Monday, February 19, 2024. He joins the devoted and adoring love of his life, his wife of almost seventy years, the late Margery. Loving father and father-in-law of Gary Leibner, Robert Leibner and Myra Shuster, Bruce Leibner and Iris Sofer, Sheryl Leibner Besner and Steven Besner. Proud grandfather of Aiden and Maxwell Leibner, Jesse Shuster Leibner and Marlee Held, Sierra Shuster Leibner, Kevin Max Leibner and Celine Hertz, Rom Leibner and Ariella Fineman, Corey Leibner, Michael Leibner and Samara Adler, Jessica Leibner, Daniel Besner and fiancée Tara Greenwald, Nicole Besner and fiancé Niko Koziris. Proud great-grandfather of Shalom, Menachem, Chana, Shaina, Chaya, Levi and Lena Leibner. Beloved son of the late George Leibner and the late Sarah Steinwald. Predeceased by his siblings and their spouses Alex and Sylvia Leibner, Mac Leibner and Ray Leibner; and by his in-laws and their spouses Eileen Riven and Irwin, Stephen and Frances Nemtin. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Wednesday, February 21, at 11:00 a.m. Burial at the Beth Zion Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield. Donations in memory of Irving may be made to the charity of your choice.
