Passed away peacefully at Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, December 13, 2023 at 92 years of age.
She leaves behind her loving children: Janet Veri, Donna Ferguson, Mary Jo (Bruce) Lyons, John (Robin) Ferguson, and Andy (Cindy) Ferguson. Cherished grandmother of Adam (Suzanne), Justin, Maichi (Dave), Theresa (Clay), Scott (Meike), Jennifer, Jeffrey (Taira), Janice (Michael), Johnny, Ricky, Abby (Mark), Brandon (Michelle), Chloe and great-grandchildren Angelene, Noah, Hazel, Victor, and Henry. Dear sister of many brothers and sisters living and deceased.
Irene’s family will receive friends and relatives at Lounsbury Funeral Home, 1766 Franklin Blvd., Cambridge on Tuesday, December 19th from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm. Vigil Prayers will be held at 3:30 pm on Tuesday. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Clement’s Church, 745 Duke St., Cambridge on Wednesday, December 20th at 10 am. Interment will follow at Parklawn Cemetery, Cambridge.
In Irene’s memory donations to Canadian Food for Children or charity of choice are appreciated by the family.
