Irene Marguerite Tower (Comeau) Obituary
Irene Tower, 72, of McQuade NB, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 28, 2024 with family by her side at The Moncton Hospital. Born in Toronto, ON, she was the daughter of the Late David and Mary (McCabe) Comeau.
Irene graduated from Ryerson in bookkeeping/accounting. She went on to work at companies such as Pepsi Frito-Lay, Salvation Army, Columbus Roofing, The TDL Group and retiring in 2017 from NASCAD University, Halifax, NS.
During her retirement years she returned to her beloved home in McQuade NB where you could find her hand-stitching quilts while growing roses and sunflowers. She loved her property and hand painted flowerpots, ornaments and enjoyed her pool.
She will be sadly missed by her husband of 35 years Donald McPhee, children Belinda Cobb (Ryan), Jason Tower and Kimberley Tower (Larry), Jeff McPhee, Leanne McPhee and their families. Irene is also survived by her grandson Jake Tower (Angel) and great granddaughter Kaylee Tower.
Irene’s siblings are Anne Wittmeir (Harold), David Comeau, John Comeau (Judy), Philip Comeau and Theresa Comeau, and their families. Aside from her parents, Irene was predeceased by her brothers Louis Comeau, Raymond Comeau and Freddy Comeau.
Her best girlfriends, Mary (Cameron) and Margaret (Hatch-Shaw), were often over for weekend adventures, movies, good memories and we would like to thank them for their love and support.
