Until the twelfth of never, I’ll still be loving you.
The 12th of Never is my parents song and if you knew them you would be well aware of their love story. They were so much in love and always together.
On Saturday June 29th with both of us holding her hands Dad lost the love of his life and best friend of 65 years.
Irene, aka Rick, Penny, Joey and the Cook was the sweetest woman and loved all of her family fiercely and everyone she met mattered to her whether they had 2 legs or 4 they were all important.
She was an amazing cook and we were spoiled for decades with her delectable dinners.
Being a registered nurse was certainly her calling as she treated her patients with respect, compassion, and kindness and taught other nurses to have the same high standard of care.
You will be dearly missed by all of our family and friends.
Thanks to the wonderful staff at TADH especially the gals in oncology and to everyone for the outpouring of love and support and beautiful words.
There will be no visitation or service
If anyone wishes to make a charitable donation Mom would choose the Timmins Humane Society.
There is nothing that could ever prepare someone to let go of someone so precious.
Take care of your family and be kind, there is never enough time.
Dad is so happy that he could spend his life with you and I’m honoured to be your daughter and although we are broken hearted we are grateful that you will never be tired or cold again.
