Grand-Barachois, NB – It is with great sadness that we announce that after a long and courageous fight with cancer, Roland Gaudet, 65, peacefully passed away on Thursday, December 12th, 2024, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton.
Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Léo Gaudet and the late Rita (Melanson) Gaudet.
He will be sadly missed by his son, Tristian Gaudet; his daughter, Aria Gaudet; his two sisters: Gloria Leger and Janice Gaudet; the mother of his children and former wife, Lise Auffrey-Gaudet; as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brother, Maurice “Moe” Gaudet.
Visitation will be held from Passage-Chartersville Funeral Cooperative, 363 Amirault St, Dieppe, 506-857-1901, on Thursday, December 19th, 2024, from 1 to 3 pm only, followed by the funeral service in the chapel at 3 pm.
If desired, a donation in memory of Roland can be made to the Tree of Hope campaign, or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
