Moncton, NB – Roger Doucet, 64, passed away at the Villa du Repos in Moncton, on Monday, January 30th, 2023.
Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Leonard Doucet and Ida (Belliveau) Doucet.
Roger loved unconditionally. His family and friends were very important to him. He had a big heart, and he appreciated all that everyone did for him. Even the little things would make him very happy. He loved to hug the ladies and shake hands with the men. He loved listening to music, especially Anne Murray and Johnny Cash.
Roger will be sadly missed by his mother, Ida Doucet of Moncton; his two brothers: Raymond (Lilianne) Doucet and Marc Doucet (Donna McCormond) both of Moncton; his two sisters: Pauline (Eddie) Harris of Moncton and Murielle (Ron) Titus of Irishtown and by several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his father, Leonard in 2018.
Visitation will be held from Passage-Chartersville Funeral Cooperative on Tuesday, February 7th from 2 to 4 pm only. Funeral service will follow at the Passage-Chartersville Funeral Chapel at 4 pm.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of the Villa du Repos in Moncton for the great care and affection given to Roger during his stay, as well to the Belliveau and Doucet families for their support.
In memory of Roger, a donation can be made to the Down Syndrome Society or to the IWK Hospital.
