Dieppe, NB – It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paul Belliveau, 89, on February 20, 2023, at the Dr-Georges-L. Dumont in Moncton, NB.
Born in Dieppe, NB on October 19, 1933, he was the son of the late Edmond and the late Alma (LeBlanc) Belliveau.
Papa was a father, a grandfather, a great-grandfather, and a spouse exceptionally devoted with lots of love. He was a gentle man, generous, diplomatic, funny and knew how to respect others equally in his professional life as well as in his personal and family life. Other than the successes that he came to know on a professional level, Paul was always a passionate player and outstanding at golf.
Thank you Papa for your unconditional love and all the little blessings. You are going to miss us very much. Have a nice journey and rest in peace. We cherish you! xoxo
He is survived by his spouse, Annette Belliveau; his children: Ronald (Norma), Ginette (Daniel), Luc (Chantal) and Lise (Ginette); his grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his brother, Louis Joseph (Joan); his sisters: Norma (feu Roger), Géraldine (Ronald), Lucille (feu Philias), and Diane (Donald); his two sisters-in-law: Aline and Géraldine, as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his first wife, Jeannine Gauvin, as well as his two brothers: Roger and Gérard.
Visitation will be held at Passage-Chartersville Funeral Cooperative, (363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB, E1A 1G1, 506-857-1901) on Thursday, March 16 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. only. Funeral mass will be held at the Sainte-Thérèse-de-l’Enfant-Jésus Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe, on Friday, March 17 at 11:00 a.m.
In Paul’s memory, a donation can be made to the CHU Dumont foundation.
